    Description

This sale is for a 1968 Presidential Election pin for George Wallace's failed campaign with his American Independent Party attempt to challenge sitting Democratic candidate Hubert Humphrey. Wallace, running on a largely segregationist platform, won 46 electoral votes from 5 southern states, but ultimately lot to Richard Nixon. The pin measures about 3 1/2 inches in diameter and features a pictorial image of the front of the U.S. Capitol Building with "Washington D.C." below it in the upper left, an image of Wallace's face in the upper right, and "Win With Wallace," in white text on red field in the lower hemisphere. This pin ships free USPS Firs Class Mail.
