    Description

5/8" gilt-on-white 1917 "Votes for Women - Indiana" celluloid pin in near mint condition. Bastian backpaper. Very likely distributed by the Women's Franchise League of Indiana in 1917 when the Indiana General Assembly was considering granting partial voting rights to women (they did pass the legislation, only to have the Indiana Supreme Court strike it down in October).
