    Description

    This is a Collins Radio Co. model # 270G-1 Desktop Speaker, which I received from a Ham Radio Estate sale, along with the companion Collins 75A-4 HF-bands Amateur Radio Receiver. I already have a Collins model # 270G-3 Speaker, so I don't need this one. I haven't decided if I'm going to keep or sell the 75A-4 Receiver and 270G-3 Speaker in later auctions, since I already have a very nice Collins 75S-3B Receiver and companion desktop speaker for when I want to do any "BA" activity.
    This speaker has the Jensen "ALNICO 5" PM speaker installed in the cabinet. It is in good condition with the expected small scuffs and scratches for being probably 65+ years old, except for a scuff on the lower part of the front panel, with the gray paint missing, which you can see in the front-view pictures. I'm listing this Speaker under eBay's condition grading of "Used" since there's not much that could go wrong with just an extension speaker.

    Shipping will be via FedEx to CONUS-only locations, and the shipping charges will be .85, based on other packages of similar size and weight that I've recently shipped. Any International sales must use eBay's Global Shipping Program service, where I ship the units to their forwarding center in Kentucky, and eBay takes care of the necessary customs, etc. paperwork, and then they ship onward to the winning bidder. No Direct Overseas Sales!
    Because of the shipping arrangements that are done out-of-state, I am not able to combine shipment of multiple items. I ship via FedEx within five days of auction end and receipt of payment. By the time the item is put up for auction, it has already been packed for shipping.
    Please understand that once I've dropped off an item to be shipped at FedEx, I have no further control of when it will actually arrive at your location. Occasionally, the shipping company routes the package through some far, out-of-the-way locations which can greatly delay the shipping time, compared to what eBay quotes for delivery times.
