1997 Honda CR

Description

1997 CR500R in exceptional condition, acquired from the original owner that pampered the bike its entire life. Very low hours, under 30 which were trail ridden only. The bike has never been dropped, jumped or raced.
The original wheels are near perfect with absolutely no flat spots or cracks, impossible to find. Front tire is original, lightly weathered though presentable for collector purposes or occasional riding. The bike has been mildly upgraded as shown, with billet stand, AC aluminum subframe, Vortex reeds, HD rotors and bars.
I have 90% percent of the bikes original parts that will be included, exhaust, plastics and brake rotors, all of which are in excellent condition. The engine screams and is not for the faint of heart, still obtains its healthy factory compression, shifts precisely like a clock. Also take note of the factory green head cap markings, this motor has never been opened or touched with the exception of added reed valves.
The previous owner always stored bike indoors and kept fluids drained, never seen the outdoors unless it was going down a trail. These 500Rs are just hard to find in this condition. Bike comes with a clean Cal title, has been on non opt for many years according to previous owner, vin provided to view any registration dues, which should be 0.
