1973 Volkswagen Gazelle / Beetle Kit Car, LOW RESERVE! Shows 16,613 Miles, Project Car. Condition is "Used". Local pickup onlyShows 16,613 miles but I likely these miles are since the kit car was assembled. (Engine likely has more miles.)I bought this car at an online auction about a year ago. It had been in storage and covered in dust. Condition was unknown and I was planning to get it running to sell again. I am not a mechanic and decided it would be better to sell it as is again to a new buyer. The engine turns by hand, is not seized. One spark plug looks wet but the rest are dry. This could be a minor issues or need extensive work. I cleaned up the outside and ordered a key to fit the factory ignition as the key was missing. The wiring looks like a headache, probably should start over with that. It will need gone over, everything like brakes etc as well. Comes with title and vinyl roof that folds down as a convertible. Tires in good condition.This car is a VW Beetle chassis that has a kit car body to look like a (1928 Mercedes?)
