Alfreda Slominski was well known for keeping track of her personal budget by clipping coupons & cutting out waste. A mentality she also applied to her time as Erie Countys Comptroller where she earned the nickname "the fiscal watchdog. This political pin is from 1969 when she tried dethrone Frank A. Sedita as Buffalo's mayor. This pin is over 50 years old, but it still appears to be in acceptable condition in my opinion. however, it may or may not show some normal signs of minor wear due to age.
