    Description

Years ago (1940) Wendell Wilke ran for President against Franklin D. Roosevelt.  The election was conclusive, the People Wanted FDR.  In fact, "Why change horses in the middle of a stream?" was asked.  FDR guided the Country through the Second World War.  Wendell Wilke faded off into gardening, or some such endeavor.  This Lapel Pin was no doubt worn by a supporter back then.
